Nostalgia pagi...

Zaman persekolahan dahulu mengajar aku erti bangun pagi yang sebenar-benarnya...

Gelap gelita
5.30 dah kena bangun
Kadang-kadang lebih awal
sebab Warden (atau ada kalanya senior yang terlebih rajin) dah start berdondang sayang mendahului jam loceng aku

Mandi
berebut lak tu
Beku sial!
Especially zaman Form 1 sampai Form 5- asrama tak pakai heater!

Subuh
Siap2 pakai baju sekolah
Sarapan- time ni la nampak cahaya matahari baru nak naik

Kemas-kemas buku
berkejar ke sekolah
sebab sekolah dengan asrama sebelah-sebelah je

Ngantuk sepanjang hari
sebab malam study (yeah, right...) sampai lewat

Kenangan tul...

P.S. Perhatian- keadaan di atas tidak meliputi hujung minggu dan cuti am

Aku belajar bangun pagi lambat pasal duduk asrama. Mmg kena paksa semayang subuh berjemaah, tp kedegilan aku meningkat secara exponential sewaktu di asrama. Aku ponteng assembly, terus gi kelas di mana aku makan epal/oren untuk sarapan pagiku. Mmg waktu itu aku sgt ramping. *ketawa dekah2*

Study? Apa itu? Aku hanya belajar study sewaktu di Asasi. Tu pasal result SPM aku hancus. Nasib baik masih cukup pass nak masuk uni.

Ah, to be like the Johnny Hates Jazz song ... Turn Back the Clock. Yeah?

I was lucky that only 4 people in the district of Hulu Langat got all As in their SPM. My results was cukup2 makan gred satu. I think I got accepted by Asasi because I had tonnes of paper denoting all my extra-curricular "accomplishment" at school (primary AND secondary, mind you).

I guess that was the only good thing that I got going to boarding school. The school was so small that I got the opportunity to shine. Not to mention because no one else wanted to debate/run/perform plays/organise stuff for the homeroom. Oh, and become President of Nature Club. And VP for Rangers. Yeah.

If I was in Assunta, I doubt I'd be more than just the President of Perosak Rakan Sebaya. Too many competitors, not enough confidence. But perhaps my exam results would be better since it would never have occurred to me to cut class. And I have pals to study with that clicks with me.
