Segala puji dan syukur yang berterusan bagi Allah yang telah mengizinkan aku untuk berkasih sayang dengannya selama tempoh 47 hari yang telah lepas

Kini Allah telah menarik nikmat itu kembali

What it takes...

To have a lasting relationship

you need to be strong enough

to get to know each other

and to learn to love each other

over and over and over again!

Why?

Because people change with time- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually:

The baby sister you cuddled is different from the girl you're sending off to college.

The boy you used to play with is different from the undergraduate who's discussing his future with you.

The sweet girl you married is different from the woman who's nurturing your child.

The young guy you tied the knot with is different from the man who's working hard to make ends meet for you and his children.

And so on, and so forth...

This is actually harder than it seems.

Not every one of us will be lucky enough to get someone who complements us seamlessly.

Most of the time we need to work at it!

To either fill the holes at the seams

or accept them as part of the beautiful pattern of your shared lives.

But it is ultimately

the most rewarding!

To all my readers

and especially as a reminder to myself

Do cherish ALL your relationships while they last.

Work smart and hard to develop them

because we will never know if they might end.

And if they do end

let it be in joy.

Because we know we have done our best.

KTM Komuter- dislike

Kalau KTM Komuter ada FB (mungkin ada kot- cuma aku je yang tak tau sebab aku paling maleh explore FB ni)

dan ada butang 'dislike'

yang boleh aku click banyak-banyak kali

Aku pasti, akulah antara orang yang akan paling banyak menyumbang di situ!

Buat spoil aje sume plan beraya aku semalam!

Tren ke Serdang, mula-mula kensel...

...pas tu delay

sebab kensel tadi!

Pergh! Aku dengan pasrah terus minta refund ticket dan menuju ke kaunter teksi (yang mahal ya-amatz) kat Sentral tu.

Sama jugak time dari Serdang ke KL.

Sebelum ni aku siap boleh tukar tren kat Sentral dan sampai ke Klang, semuanya dalam tempoh satu jam setengah aje.

Tapi tren semalam kejap kejap berenti.

Ada la dekat 5 kali stop dalam perjalanan menuju Sentral tu (tak termasuk berenti kat stesen ye).

Gambar kat bawah ni aku snap time bosan-bosan sementara tren tengah lepak sat.

Aku faham yang KTM banyak kekangan dalam usaha menambahbaik perkhidmatan korang, tapi tolonglah cari jalan...

Nampak tak betapa ramainya ummat yang bergantung pada perkhidmatan korang?

Patut boleh dapat pahala banyak sediakan kemudahan macam ni.

Tapi kalau dah disertai rasa tak puas hati dan caci maki, bagaimana agaknya keberkatan rezki yang korang bawak balik?

Kesian kat korang gak.

Pasti ada caranya dan pastinya cabarannya amatlah sukar.

Nak buat benda baik ni memang camtu.

Harap KTM akan terus gigih berusaha untuk beri perkhidmatan yang terlebih baik.

P.S. Aku terserempak menatang biru ni kat rumah member yang aku sangat pasti mengibarkan bendera hijau. Apakah???

Senaman memang membantu...

Selepas break sebulan lebih, aku dengan konfidennya membantai rutin biasa aku petang semalam.

Cuma aku abaikan time limit untuk beri peluang kepada badan aku membiasakan kembali dengan beban kerja.

Tapi not bad, overall.

Timing sekadar lari 12 minit- untuk seorang aku, itu sudah sangat okey.

Dan aku juga perasan yang aku kurang mencungap jika perlu membuat pecutan mengejar punch card (oops!) bulan lepas, walaupun aku dah berenti lebih 2 minggu.

Memang kesan jangka panjang senaman yang dilaksanakan dengan baik itu amat bagus!

Oh... and also rather addictive.

Meresah je rasa sebab tak gi senam.

Walaubagaimanapun, pada waktu ini aku terpaksa menanggung lenguh dan sengal-sengal bahu akibat tindakan aku ini.

Tu le... tak teragak-agak langsung!

Padan muka :P hehe

Banner baru!

Keputusan telah diumumkan.

Tahniah diucapkan kepada semua pemenang.

Namun aku bukan dari kalangan mereka yang tersenarai.

Malah top 20 pun bukan.

Ini bermakna, aku telah gagal memenangi banner yang cantik hasil kerja Hizami.

Disebabkan telah terlintas di hati untuk menukarnya, maka aku usahakan sendiri.

Yang terpamer di atas itulah hasilnya...

...sebagai pengubat kecewa :P

Pencarian sumber rezki yang kurang memberangsangkan

membawa kepada keputusan untuk menyambung pengajian

Kerjaya mengajar jadi impian

My 'eid...

As the year progresses, I become less and less inclined to 'celebrate' 'eid.

Nevertheless, preparations were made. Prettied up the indoor garden. Installed filters in the two tiered waterfall. Also added blue and gold gouramis (sepat) to add a dash of colour inside the pond.

Main dish- Ma's own pasta recipe- spirelli in spicy tomato gravy.

Side dish- chicken and beef satay from Sungai Ramal Food Court, Kajang courtesy of cousin Aya. Currently for me, this totally beats the taste of Samuri on any given day.

Supplementary dish- nasi himpit and the famous Rendang Tok Mak Nik.

As well as the obligatory kuih raya. By the way, that kuih bawang in the back is courtesy of Miss Accountant Niza. It's a lifesaver! Thanks a whole bunch!

End of Day 1.

Day 2 saw us making the rounds to the homes of Ma and Pa's remaining siblings. At the moment, it's still going strong at 5 houses. Hopefully, this will last for many more years before we need to remove any houses from the must visit list.

I was already working on Day 3. Luckily the guests came in the evening. In fact, I personally invited one of them over- thanks for braving my parents and coming over Nukie :)

Days 4 and 5 were for me to go visiting.

Lepak at Rol's for almost a quarter of the day on Saturday. He owns these very cute and manja pair of cats that I've ever had the pleasure of getting acquainted with.

We received more guests in the evening.

On Sunday, jalan-jalan a bit at Suria with Adik, then watched Cowboys & Aliens. Unfortunately, Adik was only free until 4.00pm, so I made plans to return Nukie's visit.

Since he's requested that I not post any of the pics I took at his home, this is the only image I can put up as a fond reminder of that trip.

My eternal gratitude and utmost appreciation to Nukie and family for your warm hospitality.

Ri pasti ingat jasa baik awak sampai bila-bila pun insyaAllah...

Before 'eid...

Hmm... Somehow, I neglected to post photos I shot during Ramadhaan.

Maybe it's due to the quantity and quality of the pictures. Wasn't as excited to go out and shoot this time around as well. Guess I'm getting old... What the heck! I AM old!!! :P

The Pyramid and OU seemed to be going for the minimalist approach this year. Fewer oversized and exaggerated constructions, more internal decor and knick-knacks.

Pyramid chose the wau (traditional Malay kite) as its main theme.

While OU Oval seemed to have sprouted several oversized mushrooms.

Ooh! The effervescent Chef Florence was giving a cooking demo! Very the bertih digoreng one, but very entertaining and educational (for those interested in cooking like me).

The above shows her in action. She was assisted by her sister.

And this is the result! Wonderful Baba dishes- fragrant chicken pongteh and delightful prawn masak lemak with pineapples.

Adoiyai! Kalaulah bukan bulan posa! :P

In the meantime, Suria put up an honest to goodness rumah kampung on stage.

The stage decorations and settings were messy lah! Lots of interesting points but as a whole, it makes it very difficult to frame a shot.

Well, that's it! Sikit kan?
